Infertility Treatments: Simple to Complex

As an infertile couple, it becomes essential to talk about your problems with a fertility specialist. With them, you get an opportunity to list down all your questions and organised planning. Coming to the EVAA fertility centre, the fertility specialists ask you all the necessary questions providing you with an excellent beginning to discuss infertility.

What strategy do EVAA Fertility specialists follow?

At EVAA, we determine your health history, medications, sexual history, and sex habits and offer a range of treatments and procedures accordingly. For males, we carry out a physical exam or a sperm analysis to determine the health of the sperm.

On the other hand, for females, the testing process begins with a physical exam, especially the pelvic exam. We consider the ovulation process, whether the ovaries are releasing the eggs properly or not. At the same time to check the hormone levels, we have also taken blood tests. Plus, an ultrasound examination of the ovaries and uterus is done while the fallopian tubes and uterus are examined by X-ray test.

The main reason for infertility

Infertility can be due to several reasons. From pelvic inflammatory disease to endometriosis, sterilisation, ejaculation disorders or failure to ovulate, a lot of factors can affect it.

If data is to be estimated, approximately 80% of the couples suffer from infertility due to ovulation issues, sperm problems or blockage in the fallopian tubes. However, there are times when all the tests come out to be regular, and the reason is unknown. We see which treatment or procedure is best for you in such cases. But, before you get ready for the treatment, it is very crucial to get ready it. You need to plan for the emotional turmoil. This includes :

How far do you want to go? - As an infertile couple, you need to set some limits. Plus, see how far you are comfortable with the procedures and treatments. Undoubtedly, coping with infertility can be difficult, but with the support of EVAA fertility specialists, you can lower your emotional burden.

Visting all the options - Before you plan treatment, we suggest you identify all the alternatives. Especially initially in the fertility process. Whether it is adopting or donating an egg, this will help you decide and reduce anxiety during the treatments.

Express your feelings - Get in touch with some support groups and counselling services that will assist you in relaxing. At the same time, start practising stress-reduction methods and stay in touch with loved ones.

Ovulation Cycle Tracking - A simple process that can help you identify which days you’re most fertile to give you the best chance of conceiving naturally.

Ovulation Induction (OI)

A simple treatment that uses medication to help stimulate your hormones and encourage ovulation.

Artificial Insemination (IUI)

A technique that involves inserting prepared sperm into the female’s uterus close to the time of ovulation.

IVF Treatment

After a course of ovarian stimulation, eggs are collected from the ovaries and fertilised with sperm in a laboratory. One of the resulting embryos is then transferred back into the uterus.

ICSI Treatment

A different, more sophisticated form of IVF where the scientist injects a single sperm into the egg to assist fertilisation. This technique is an excellent treatment if the sperm is of poor quality.

Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET)

Any additional embryos created from an IVF cycle can be frozen and stored for future use. These embryos can then be thawed and transferred if more than one treatment cycle is needed.

Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy (Fertility Surgery)

Surgery may be required to further investigate or treat conditions making it difficult for you to conceive such as endometriosis or fibroids for women, or to surgically retrieve sperm.

Digital High Magnification (IMSI)

A technique for men with severely reduced levels of sperm morphology, which allows the laboratory to digitally enlarge images of the sperm and select the most appropriate sperm to be injected into the egg.
